About MAFO 2008:
Muslim-Americans for Obama (MAFO) was launched in August 2008 to provide a vehicle for Muslim-American supporters of Barack Obama to organize and mobilize our fellow citizens to get out the vote to elect Barack Obama the next president of the United States.
We are not affiliated in any way with a similarly-named site: muslimsforobama08.com. MAFO is not endorsed by the Obama campaign. While MAFO itself is not a 501(c)3, some of the information on this site may pertain to events and activities undertaken by other nonprofits.
Special thanks to MAFO members Faiz Ahmad, Shahed Amanullah, Zeba Iqbal, KWJ, Abdul-Rahim Mathon, Meena, Aftab Siddiqui, & Zeenat for their hard work on helping us expand MAFO.
