Why I support Barack Obama

Bush, thereby compelling members to vote for him (and for Cheney). Many members felt betrayed - as the vote went against instinct and a significant segment of the Muslim American population was excluded from the decision making process - primarily African American Muslims (and respective organizations). Talk about poor judgement and creating disunity. It was disgusting.

I have been Muslim for about 26 years now, and, involved with a few community minded organizations (in the African American community) before that. During that time I have seen a few successes...and a few failures as well. Historically, the failures are usually caused by a lack of conviction or understanding by the membership...primarily prompted by forces/individuals that were missioned to cause disruption and disunity between the membership...make them doubt their cause or their purpose completely. I have seen it before...I wonder am I seeing it again. This will be my last post on this thread.
